The first Twenty20 International of India’s three-match series against Australia will begin from 20th September, Tuesday. On social media, a video of India captain Rohit Sharma, all-arounder Hardik Pandya, and legspinner Yuzvendra Chahal entering the city with a large group of security officers surrounding them was uploaded.

India will play three T20 Internationals and as many ODIs against South Africa following Australia before departing for Australia for the World Cup. In the meantime, the Chandigarh Police on Saturday requested payment from the Punjab Cricket Association for the security protection it provided for earlier matches (as reported).
