Bangladesh managed to pull of 128 runs after the team was witnessed under trouble. It was Mosaddek Hossain’s heroic innings of 48* runs which assited Bangladesh from scoring an embarrassing total. Mahedi Hassan played the second last delivery (19.5) of the innings and Mosaddek Hossain who was close to reaching his fifty ran a quick sprint from the non striker’s end but since the plan was not fancied before, Mahedi was confused and ultimately sacrificed his wicket for the game changer Mosaddek Hossain. Mosaddek ultimately failed to play the last ball which kept the batsman at 48*.
Afghanistan once again gets an easy target and once again it’s the bowling unit who took the responsibility of taking down the pressure. It is now in the hands of the batting unit to finish off the game which was dominated by Afghanistani spinners.
