Jalsa, the star’s Mumbai home, was recently sanitised hours after he declared that he had tested positive for COVID-19. On August 24, Big B posted to his official Twitter account to announce that he has contracted COVID for the second time. Furthermore, the star advised everyone in his neighbourhood to be checked.

Just one day after Amitabh Bachchan revealed that he had tested positive for COVID-19, BMC personnel sanitised the actor’s Juhu home (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation). Amitabh Bachchan posted to his blog on Thursday morning to update followers on his health. In his statement, the actor thanked his fans and coworkers for their affection and assistance during the trying times. He stated,  “To them that have sent me their concern and prayers .. their love .. and the immense heart filled grace for my recovery, I give my folded hands in grateful acknowledgement will ever be touched by gratitude .. your benevolence shall ever remain within me and your dedicated care, a never-ending river of love.”

For those who are unaware, this isn’t the first time the Sholay star has tested positive for the virus. Amitabh had already contracted COVID with actor-son Abhishek Bachchan, actor-daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan in July 2020. The 79-year-old actor broke the news on his official Twitter account and advised everyone who came into touch with him to be checked right once. “I tested positive for COVID. Transferred to the hospital. The inquiry by family and employees is ongoing, and people who have been in contact with me in the previous 10 days are asked to please be tested” Bachchan said
