English professional footballer Jamie Vardy has renewed his contract with Leicester City. After helping the Foxes win the Premier League in 2015-16 and the FA Cup in 2020-21 since signing from Fleetwood in 2012, Vardy, now 35, has signed a contract extension with Leicester that will keep him with the club until 2024.

Italian Football journalist Fabrizio Romano Tweeted, “Official. Jamie Vardy has signed a new Leicester City deal until June 2024, completed. Vardy stays – key part of the project, new contract approved by Rodgers.”

For his ten years of service at Leicester, he received £7,280,000 as per year salary. Moreover, Foxes have renewed his contract for the same price.

Vardy has scored 153 goals in 335 league games for Leicester and became the oldest player to win the Premier League Golden Boot after scoring a league-high 23 goals in the 2019-20 season.

Vardy has scored 15 goals in the Premier League in each of the previous two seasons, but he has failed to score in either of the first two games of this season.
