BCCI reportedly disagreed in giving permission to the Cricket Association of Bengal for a tournament held in Namibia, in which the team was participating.
However, because the event includes teams from other nations, BCCI did not grant the association permission to send its players. According to rumors, the BCCI decision did not sit well with CAB, who were preparing for the tour’s formalities.
