Rajya Sabha had been adjourned till 12 noon minutes today after the house proceedings had begun . The fourth day of Parliament’s Monsoon Session was interrupted by opposition MPs who raised slogans demanding a debate on the issue of price rise.
AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh gave a zero-hour notice over the “misuse of central investigation agencies by the ruling government.”
Lok Sabha was adjourned till 11:30 am.

Moreover, Lok Sabha’s hearing faced endless disruptions. With the opposition staging a demonstration against the summon issues given to Congress president, Sonia Gandhi in the National Herald case. Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu objected to members bringing placards and other items in the House. And adjourned the session till 12 noon today.
The Congress leaders accused BJP-led Centre of misusing agencies to target significant Opposition leader’s in fake cases. Amidst unrelenting sloganeering from Opposition members, BJP MP Prahlad Joshi says that we have already agreed to discuss price rise. “When Nirmala Sitharaman has recovered from COVID, we will have a discussion,” he says. “Do the Opposition members want the House to function or not,” the BJP MP asks.
On July 18th, the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha began its Monsoon Session. But the house has failed to transact any significant business so far.
