Lucknow Super Giants and Kolkata Knight Riders are up against each other at Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy, Navi Mumbai on Wednesday. Lucknow Super Giants won the toss and decided to bat first against KKR. It proved to be a good decision by skipper KL Rahul as LSG set the huge target of 211 runs for KKR.

KKR bowlers couldn’t even take a single wicket in the game and they were just too expensive in the game. LSG made a new record in this ongoing game against KKR. LSG made 210 runs for no loss in the whole first innings and it was the first time in the IPL history that the team didn’t lose even a single wicket while batting first.

Quinton de Kock destroyed the bowling line-up of KKR as he scored 140 runs off 70 balls which includes 10 fours and 10 sixes. De Kock’s opening partner KL Rahul also remained not out on 68 till the end. This also became the best opening partnership in IPL history.
