Could Ayurveda treat Covid-19 hypothesis leads researchers. Indian and American Ayurvedic researchers are planning to conduct joint clinical trial of Ayurvedic formulations. If they can be used to cure Covid19 in the future.
Indian Ambassador to US Taranjit Singh Sandhu has said that vast institutional network has brought the two countries together to cooperate against Covid 19.
“Our Institutions have also been collaborating to promote Ayurveda through joint research, teaching and training programs. Ayurvedic practitioners and researchers in both the countries are planning to initiate joint clinical trials of Ayurvedic formulations against COVID-19,”
The Indian- US Science Technology Forum had also intiated for the collaboration of the two countries in research and technology against Coronavirus. Indian – US Science Technology has also led the collaboration in innovations, scientific research and technology from time to time.
Sandhu stated that Indian pharmaceutical companies are globally renowned for providing low cost medicines. They will be very crucial to the world for the fight against the pandemic.
Sandhu further added that already three Indian vaccine comapnies are collaborating with US based institutions. He mentioned the importance of this collaboration not only to the countries but across the world, as everyone is looking for the vaccines as a solution and a final hope to end the pandemic, which has already taken a major toll on us.
