In October 2021 Newcastle United FC was taken over by a Saudi Arabian-backed. Which made them one of the richest clubs in the world. In the January transfer window, they spent £90m, and this summer Eddie Howe will be looking at making further addition.
Eddie Howe said that he is happy with this squad while acknowledging that time stands still. you have to continue to evolve as well as improve, so he has no issues looking outward and saying they do not need certain things.
Eddie Howe further said that perhaps he does not think it will be the revolution that everyone thinks it will be, and it can not be because they are under financial restrictions.
In 2021 November, Eddie Howe was appointed as the Newcastle United Boss. With the club’s 19th spot in the Premier League and 5 points from safety after 11 matches.
With the 7 top-flight matches left, they are in the 15th position and ten points above the relegation zone.
Eddie Howe added that it is not just the case of signing anybody. Also, that would never be the way he works anyway because every individual has to fit within the structure of the squad. And make the squad better, not just the individual. That is fundamental to their future, so for all those different reasons, he doesn’t think it will ever be a case of wholesale changes.
