Alejandro Davidovich Fokina just had the biggest win of his career eliminating World No. 1 Novak Djokovic out of the Monte Carlo Masters first round. The Spaniard did an exception as Novak was a heavy favourite to win at the tournament. The Serbian was back after a long and expected to have a good time on clay. Tennis fans were also excited about his probable clash against Carlos Alcaraz which is now impossible after his departure.

Davidovich, who now advances to the third round of the tournament that he admires Novak Djokovic and the Spanish professional grew up watching Novak play. “Beating the No. 1 in Monte Carlo, in a packed stadium…I’m just so happy,” he further said, reported tennis writer Jose Morgado.
