When Chennai Super Kings takes on Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League (IPL), it will be the team’s 200th match. Out of 199 games played thus far, the four-time IPL winner has won 117 games, second most in the IPL after Mumbai Indians (125), and has lost 81 games.

CSK also has the greatest win-loss ratio in the competition (1.462), ahead of Mumbai Indians (1.358). The Men in Yellow have played 24 playoff games, the most of any side in tournament history, and have advanced to the final four stage in 11 of the 12 seasons they’ve played, missing out just once in 2020, when they finished seventh on the points table.

In the IPL, defending champions Chennai Super Kings will have to rise to the occasion and play a “full” game against Royal Challengers Bangalore. After four games, CSK is failed to win a match, while RCB, headed by former CSK opener Faf du Plessis, has won three and lost one.
