In the Indian Premier League, Royal Challengers Bangalore’s former captain Virat Kohli has the most runs against Mumbai Indians’ Jasprit Bumrah, with 126 runs in 14 innings at an average of 31 and a strike rate of 150 and strike rate 207 in the death overs (16-20).
Virat Kohli is the only player in the league’s 14-year history to score more than 6000 runs. Kohli has 6283 runs at an average of 37.40 in 207 matches. He has five hundreds, four of them were in the 2016 dream season, when he established the record for most runs scored in an IPL edition (973 runs).
Jasprit Bumrah has defied all assumptions and stereotypes to become India’s best bowler in all forms. It’s never been easy facing him, and it won’t be any easier than expected, as he’s riding high on confidence after a terrific five-wicket performance on the Bengaluru surface, which aided the spinners.
