Uma Exports shares debuted on the stock market on Thursday, with the stock trading at Rs 76 on the NSE, a premium of over 11% over the IPO issue price of Rs 68 per share. Uma Exports shares began trading on the BSE at 80 rupees per share, up 17 percent from the issue price.

Uma Exports’ three-day initial public offering (IPO) began on Monday, March 28, 2022, and ended on Wednesday, March 30, 2022. The company set a price range for the public offering of 65 to 68 cents per equity share. The inaugural share offer was subscribed 7.67 times overall after three days of bidding, while the retail investors’ category was booked almost ten times.

The company previously stated that the net proceeds from the offering would be used to supplement operating capital and for general corporate purposes.

Sugar, spices such as dry red chillies, turmeric, coriander, and cumin seeds, food grains such as rice, wheat, corn, sorghum, and tea, pulses, and agricultural feed such as soybean meal and rice bran de-oiled cake are all traded and marketed by Uma Exports.
