Jurgen Klopp’s recent statement states that there is no chance for Erling Haaland to move to Premier League club, Liverpool. The Bundesliga striker is in heavy demand for this season. He has been linked with many big clubs including La Liga rivals Real Madrid and Barcelona. Moving to the Premier League side, Manchester United, Manchester City and Bayern Munich have also shown their interest in the player who has scored 23 goals appearing in 24 games this season.
While Barcelona says they won’t make any signings that may affect their financial status, Klopp’s recent words clear all the rumours about Haaland going to Liverpool as well. The manager of the Reds according to a report by Reuters via Bild said, “No chance! We won’t be going there. The numbers involved are just crazy- we’ll be having nothing to do with it.” The German football manager also said further that he is not interested in anything related to Erling Haaland’s deal for his club and tells “it’s not fun”.
The 21-year-old Norwegian footballer was signed by Borussia Dortmund from Red Bull Salzburg two years back in 2020. The deal cost around €20 million.
