Aakash Chopra in his tweet has said,Selectors should Select players according to the role they get in their IPL team and not according to their performance. Aakash Chopra said in his tweet that players should be given the same role in the Indian team as they play for their franchise in the IPL. Aakash Chopra advised the selectors and said that the selectors should not try to cast them in any other role by choosing the best performers and giving them the same role in which they have been playing.
This tweet by Aakash Chopra is also advice for the selectors. The Indian selectors had picked Venkatesh Iyer in the team according to his Performence in the last IPL but the team management fed him as a finisher instead of giving him the opening role. Venkatesh Iyer plays for Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL and he opens for his franchise while in the Indian team he is fed as finisher. For this reason, Aakash Chopra has said this by tweeting and has given a piece of advice to all the selectors.
