Because of the presence of many controversial candidates, Ekta Kapoor’s Lock Upp reality show is causing a lot of controversies. But, despite all of the drama, there are a few sweet and refreshing moments shared by contestants from time to time.
Out of all, comedian Munawar Faruqui is by far the most adored and despised contestant in the show. Some people admire him for his gaming skills and his demeanour attitude, while others despise him because they are envious of him.
Munawar Faruqui, a Lock Upp contestant, is well-liked by both spectators and his fellow contestants. The adage “you can like him, or hate him but you cannot ignore him” applies to the comic pretty well.
Munawar is quite entertaining as well. From time to time, his Shayaris and sermons change everyone’s mood in the prison.
In a recently released promo of the show, Munawar was seen enlightening their fellow contestants (mainly Azma Fallah) with his life anecdotes. He shared 0ne of them by saying, “Mereko na ek kissa sunaya tha mere bhaijaan ne. Or ye abhi tk mere dimaag me ye reh chuka hai.”
He said, “Ek murgi jo hoti hai na wo daana khaati hai. Ab murgi wha pe hai or tu uska daana yha se fek ke de… Aise fek ke degi na. To usko daane khaane ke liye na… Ek daan udhar wo bed ke pass hai. Ek daana udhar khaana padega. Ek daana idhar. To wo saare daane khaa legi but wo idhar udhar idhar udhar. Agar wahi murgi ek katori me tu rakh ke daana degi, wo wha pe khade rahegi or khaati rahegi.”
Later on, Munawar explains what he is trying to say. He said, “To ye hai ki agar tumhare, tumhari zindagi acchi nahi hai, tum insaan acche nahi ho, tumhare amal acche nahi hai, tumhari neeyat acchi nahi hai. To tumko wahi daane milenge but phek ke. But agar tum neeyat acchi hai, insaan acche ho, amal acche hain, actions acche hain to wahi katori tumko jagah pr milegi.”
