Rajasthan Royals will be playing their first game of the IPL 2022 against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Tuesday, 29 March. It will also be the first game for Kane Williamson’s Sunrisers Hyderabad as they are at MCA Stadium in Pune. Sunrisers has won the toss and decided to bowl first, which is usually common looking at the pitches in India. Rajasthan Royals are with a new team as they are playing with seven new players against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Tuesday.
Devdutt Padikkal, Shimron Hetmyer, Ravichandran Ashwin, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Yuzvendra Chahal, Trent Boult, and Prasidh Krishna, all these are the debutants for the Rajasthan Royals in their first game of the season at MCA, Pune. It will be interesting to see all these players playing in the same team as their new team looks really amazing with the inclusion of two Indian star spin bowlers Ravichandran Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal.
Along with the spin bowlers, some pacers namely, Trent Boult and former KKR pacer Prasidh Krishna have also been included in the playing XI. Explosive batsman Shimron Hetmyer and Nathan Coulter-Nile also got opportunities in the very first game.
