In the show’s promo Munawar Faruqui is seen sharing his experiences in the real jail. The comedian says that he used to walk in jail to pass his time. There was a small area, not a huge place was given to us for walking or roaming around, so a lot of people used to walk at the same time so it has to be kept in mind not to mingle or touch anyone while walking otherwise it could turn into a fight.
So when the comedian used to wake up in the morning it would be around 6-7 degrees, but he walked for what felt like three or four hours but it would turn out to be 45 minutes or less there were no shoes provided to the inmates so Munawar and the other inmates used to walk bare feet.
He then admits that the most difficult thing about prison was, “How to pass time” as a lot of things are going in your head and they keep on changing with seconds passing.
Munawar showing his vulnerable side to viewers was sad and heartfelt. it made the viewers think about all the hardships the comedian faced last year.
