While the investigation by Mumbai Police is in full swing in the Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case, veteran actor Shekhar Suman, recently took to social media to announce that he will be visiting late actor Sushant’s family in Patna. Shekhar also met the CM to request for a CBI probe in the case. Additionally, Shekhar conducted a press conference in which he spoke about the latest updates on Sushant’s suicide case.
However, the press conference took a different turn when one of the journalists engaged in a war of words with the veteran actor over Shekhar’s ‘gangism’ comment on Bollywood. Things further accelerated in an unlikely fashion when the journalist kept on asking Shekhar for names. At the moment, Shekhar revealed that he does not wish to act like Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who openly called out other actors without any evidence while addressing Sushant’s suicide.
Shekhar said that he is not in a position to reveal any names or accuse anyone in Bollywood, due to lack of evidence. The veteran actor further added that his main focus is to make sure that the case’s investigation is done thoroughly and to request CM to set up a CBI inquiry in Sushant’s suicide case.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Police have interrogated nearly 28 people for hours, who are related to Kai Po Che actor. Sushant’s family members, rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, co-star Sanjana Sanghi and many others have given their statement at the Bandra police station.
