Frank Lampard who is one of the most decorated midfielders in Football is now managing Everton. He played for Chelsea and Manchester City and had quite an extraordinary spell in the teams.

Everton has lost five of their past six league games. Burnley’s midweek triumph over Spurs lifted Everton just two points above the bottom three. If Burnley and Newcastle have a good day on Saturday, Everton would be in the relegation zone before their evening encounter against the league leaders, but Lampard believes it’s not something to panic about.

“It’s difficult to beat Manchester City. We can’t put all our eggs in the basket of this game being a game-changer completely as there are a lot of games left.”

“When you are playing at this level, you don’t expect to wave a magic wand and get results. You want to work in steps and bring progress and I’ve seen that” he said as reported by sky sports. He also said that Vitalii Mykolenko, the club’s Ukrainian player, is receiving every piece of help Everton can possibly give him.

Russia has invaded Mykolenko’s home Ukraine, with Russian forces currently in the capital city of Kyiv, where the left-back played club football with Dynamo before joining Goodison Park in January.
