A Ukrainian military jet carrying up to 14 passengers and crew crashed near Kyiv. The jet crashed near Kyiv, according to AFP, citing Ukrainian emergency services.
So far, the Russian military has murdered over 40 civilians in Ukraine. Earlier, the Ukrainian Army reported that a Russian jet was shot down over the Luhansk Region. After Russian President Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine, Russia seized control of two communities to the east of the country.
In a televised statement before the invasion, Putin urged Ukrainian soldiers to lay down their guns and return home. He stated that battles between Russian and Ukrainian soldiers are ‘inevitable,’ and that the special military activity is ‘aimed at demilitarisation and denazification of Ukraine.’
