Amid UP election season Union Home Minister Amit Shah gave an exclusive 50-minute interview to News18. He was seen at ease and maintained a steady tone.
Since the pandemic struck it’s been quite some time we saw Amit Shah venturing for a media outing. He patronizes Narendra Modi and says he is under the aegis of Modi. He has been under the supreme mentorship of Narendra Modi and mentioned his name many times throughout the interview with News18.
Moving on, during the interview when asked about his honest opinion on Hijab or religious customs he clearly stated that he does not advocate religious clothing in educational institutions. However, he would abide by what the judiciary system finally decides. As the judiciary system best knows the actual constitutionality of it.
Long-time Congress party leader Rashid Alvi reacted to Amit’s honest opinion on ‘Hijab’, “Amit only wants uniformity in dress codes pertaining to educational institutions only? why not decide for the whole nation. Some people want to wear some advocate against it. If Amit really seeks uniformity then ask him to seek in terms of rich and poor, give employment to unemployed, bring uniformity there.”
His interview comes in during the UP election season. After the 7 phase elections conclude one could guess who took away the majority votes in UP.
