Barcelona is still in talks with the Spanish striker, being an absolute priority for the club despite the deal falling through this transfer season. But Morata states that he would prefer to stay back at Juventus as he is happy with the club and is keen on building his performances as a starter for Series A. His experience in the Premier League with Chelsea was not one to remember and prefers to play in Spain for another season.
There have also been talks about his transfer to Arsenal, but that will only be possible if Juventus is willing to pay Athletico Madrid a €45m option to make a permanent deal this summer, having already paid €20m for two seasons on loan. According to SPORT, it is now reported that the Italian giants would be willing to make the deal permanent, but only if Atletico are prepared to reduce the fee by two thirds to just €15m. Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano tweeted on Monday about what the Spanish striker said.
Álvaro Morata on Barcelona deal collapsed in January: “It's not important now. I had a conversation with Allegri about it [Barça bid] – he told me that Dusan's arrival would help me and so it was” 🇪🇸 #Juve

Juventus coach, Massimiliano Allegri, is confident about Morata’s stay in Turin until further talks happen but Blaugrana is following up a strategy that does not help the deal as of now. With the recent signing of Ferran Torres, the club is trying to offload players that have stayed too long without a potential comeback to make space for young players.
As long as Athletico Madrid and Barcelona don’t have open talks about the Spainard, the deal for Barcelona will fall short and would leave Morata in Wanda Metropolitano if Juventus is not willing to make a permanent deal, leaving him on the transfer list at the end of the season.
