Amitabh Bachchan sold the first ever Bachchan family’s bungalow. The bungalow is situated in South Delhi. The Gulmohar Park property is said to be sold for Rs. 23 crore.

Amitabh Bachchan’s parents, Teji Bachchan and Harivansh Rai Bachchan used to live there. The actor used to live in this bungalow, called ‘Sopaan’ before coming to Mumbai.

The size of the bungalow is approximately 418.05 square-metre. It is a double storey residence. Harivansh Rai Bachchan used to host poetry session in ‘Sopaan’.

According to sources, the bungalow has been purchased for Rs. 23 crores by Avni Bader, CEO of Nezone group of companies. Avni lives near the property and knows everyone in the family since a long time.

Amitabh Bachchan is the owner of these other five bungalows – Janak, Jalsa, Prateeksha, Vatsa and Ammu. The actor also bought new duplex in Andheri for Rs. 31 crore. The size of the property is approximately 5184 square-feet.

On the big screen, Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in the film Jhund. The film is directed by Nagraj Manjule. It is scheduled to release on March 4, 2022. Other than seen, the veteran actor will be seen sharing space with Deepika Padukone again for the film The Intern. The Intern is directed by Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma.
