Ex-Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang exits the Premier League club and is now officially a Barcelona player as a free agent with a contract that lasts until June 2025.
The 32-year-old said that he is happy to join the La Liga club. “I am very happy to be here. I will give it my all to help the team,” said the player with FC Barcelona after penning the contract.
The Spanish club in a release from their official website announced the signing of Auba that stated, ” FC Barcelona and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have reached an agreement for the player to join the club after the striker terminated his contract with Arsenal FC.”

The striker had joined Arsenal from the Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund (BVB) in the year 2018 with a cost of 58 million pounds which is around $79 million. Aubameyang was Arsene Wenger’s last signing for the club as it’s the manager.
Aubameyang captained Arsenal and was the player who earned the most at the club but couldn’t appear for much of the matches as he missed the games since December. His captaincy was eliminated following a disciplinary breach by North London club boss Mikel Arteta. The veteran player was also forced to leave the Africa Cup of Nations campaign after he was found positive for COVID-19 and cardiac lesions were found in the test as reported by Football Federation.
