Almost a fortnight before their marriage, the couple landed in East Africa. In an interview to the Times Of India. Upsana said, ““We planned to celebrate it a bit earlier this year as Mr C (Ram Charan) is shooting (for RRR) during that time. We are very grateful for the expectations people have of us and therefore we didn’t mind making alterations this time.” Upsana furhter shed light on how their wedding was planned, in the same report Upasana was further qupted as saying, ““It’s a week long holiday and we’ll be travelling across Tanzania exploring places like Mount Kilimanjaro, Seronera etc. Considering Mr C’s injury (he hurt his ankle while shooting for his next recently) we kept it to something that doesn’t involve too much walking, but allows us to experience what we both equally love — the wild. Saad Uncle (former Hyderabad Ranji cricketer turned conservationist, Saad Bin Jung) planned a short trip for us to get up close to wildlife and get a true essence of Africa.”

The lady also went on to confirm that her beau Ram Charan didn’t quite believe in love. She was quoted by TOI as saying, ““Well, however crazy this may sound, truth is Ram Charan doesn’t believe in falling in love! He believes in growing in love. So yes, it feels great that seven years of our marriage just flew by. We are still in our early 30s and have a huge bucket list of things we want to do together. Every anniversary we learn something new together — like diving, adventure sport, healing techniques or dabble in culinary lessons. It’s part of our “growing in love” journey.”
