Mumbai City FC signs midfielder Bradden Inman of Australia for a season-long contract for the current and defending Indian Super League champion till May 2022.

Bradden who is a product of the English club Newcastle United’s youth academy has played in England for a decade in clubs like Crewe Alexandra, Peterborough United, and Rochdale AFC. The Adelaide born Bradden returned to Australia in 2019 and started playing for the league team Brisbane Roar where he scored four goals and five assists in 25 appearances in the 2019-20 season.

The 29-year-old joined Mohun Bagan ahead of the 2020-21 season but was lower out to Odisha FC during the January transfer window. He made a total of 13 appearances in the ISL 2020-21 season. After the conclusion of that season, he signed a short term deal with- League club Western United who he made 5 appearances.

Braden Inman said that he was pleased to join the defending champions Mumbai City FC for they have a clear goal and ambition about where they see themselves in the immediate future which is to win trophies and be one of the best clubs in Asia, and his goal will be to do his role is to help the club achieve its objectives.

The coach Sergio Loberra was delighted to have him saying that he’s a quality player, and is someone who will strengthen their attacking phase and his strong play-making will force a lot of intensity and energy into the team and adds that he is looking forward to working with him and is eager to see Braden make a difference for Mumbai on the pitch.
