The officials stated that a US Navy helicopter that crashed on the San Diego coast on Tuesday is to receive a search rescue force soon.
Though the reports state that it is unclear how many people were on board. It was Navy, an MH-60S Seahawk chopper that accommodates around four members of operations.
“An MH-60S helicopter embarked aboard USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) crashed into the sea while conducting routine flight operations approximately 60 nautical miles off the coast of San Diego at 4:30 p.m. PST, Aug. 31,” the Navy’s 3rd Fleet stated in a statement.
Though numerous coast guards and multiple navy assets have been allocated to assist in the current search party.
