Rochelle Rao has become a household name because of her character “Lottery” in The Kapil Sharma Show. Rochelle was part of The Kapil Sharma Show from 2016 since the first season. She played various roles in the comedy shows, but mainly two characters, Chingari and Lottery gave her fame.
The third season of The Kapil Sharma Show commenced on 11th August 2021 with Ajay Devgn behind its first guest. Ajay came along with the star cast of Bhuj: The Pride of India for the promotions. Following Ajay, the next guest was Akshay Kumar and his Bell Bottom star cast, Vaani Kapoor and Huma Qureshi. The later episode aired on 21st August.
But the episodes didn’t feature ‘lottery’ aka Rochelle Rao. There were rumours for her exiting the show and that conflicts have appeared between him and Kapil. But crashing all the rumours Rochelle Rao will be back on the show as Lottery.
Talking to ETimes, she spoke about her equation with Kapil, “I am nervous all the time when he is around. He makes me the most nervous all the time, followed by all the others like Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Chandan Prabhakar. They all are so good. That little bit of nervousness is always there how much I prepare myself. I know I only have 5 lines but I prepare for it a lot. I rehearse a lot because I don’t want to mess it up,”
The new season had some additions to the actors like Gaurav Gera and Sudesh Lehri. While Sumon Chakravarti, Kiku Sharda, Archana Puran Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Bharti Singh and Chandan Prabhakar were retained.
