“There has been a mixed experience of states which have reopened schools. We have been monitoring the situation,” the Delhi CM quoted. “We want the schools to be reopened as soon as possible but don’t want to take any risk with the safety of students. We will make a decision soon,” he added.
The Covid situation in India has significantly improved. DMA’s decision came in after the sudden improvement in the Coronavirus spread in Delhi after the second wave evolved. Delhi recorded no deaths on Thursday wherein it accounted for only 45 new cases on a single day count. The positivity ratio resulted in around 0.06%, as shown by data revealed by the city health department. This is the sixteenth successive time that Delhi recorded no casualties amidst the growing surge of the pandemic’s second wave including the Delta variant.
