And today, she posted a heartfelt note on her Instagram on her father Ashok Chopra’s birth anniversary. Sharing a picture of her dad with a background song, she captioned the post,

Priyanka Chopra’s father Ashok Chopra passed away in 2013. Its been 7 years to his death. Priyanka shared a close bond with her dad, she has also got a tattoo ‘ Daddy’s lil girl’ inked on her wrist in her father’s handwriting.
A few days back the actress posted a tribute on Memorial day to military families with by sharing a post about her parents- Madhu and Ashok Chopra. She wrote, ”Both my parents served in the Indian Army… and maybe that’s why I feel such a kinship with military families all over the world. Today let’s think of all the fallen heroes that have given their lives in service to protect our freedom. #memorialday @madhumalati #LtcolAshokChopra”.
