Eden Hazard explains why he is no longer the player he used to be at Chelsea. He told that his ankle may never be same again due to injuries, but that won’t stop him from keep trying to have his form back.

Belgium captain Eden Hazard has been too unlucky to not play enough matches of the first two seasons since he has signed for the La Liga club, Real Madrid. He was also used as a substitute in Belgium’s opening games of pre Euro 2020 preparations. He is optimistic to start for the first time at his side’s final tournament Group B match against Finland in St. Petersburg on Monday.

Real Madrid midfielder explained why he is not being able to perform the same as he did with the Blues. His multiple ankle fractures intends that he might never be the same player he was 10 years ago but that didn’t stop him from being courageous enough to prove his ability to be able to still perform at the highest level at the European Championship.

The Belgian player is not 100% fit and is working on his health. He wants to gain his confidence at the Euros so that he can prove himself in Spain later.

“I never doubted my qualities. I am not 100% fit yet, but ready to start the game. I might not be able to perform for full 90 minutes but I will play as many minutes as possible,” said Hazard to a news conference on Sunday.

Eden Hazard knows what he can be on the pitch, when he is fully fit and his impact on his nation as well as at Real Madrid. The Belgian Red Devils’ captain is focused on his fitness.
