Ajay Devgn had shared a post on his social media handle earlier this year in March. He asked his fans to call him Sudarshan from then. Many speculations arose that this was a promotion post for his debut on the OTT platform.
Now, Bollywood Hungama has gotten details from an insider source that Ajay Devgn is indeed making his entry into OTT with a web series. It is also reported that it is going to be the Indian remake of the British show Luther.
The source adds, “Yes, Ajay will be making his OTT debut with the Luther remake that is jointly being produced by BBC India and Applause Entertainment. Once ready the show will be aired on Disney+ Hotstar, and an official announcement of the show will happen sometime next week.”
The series is rumoured to be directed by Rajesh Mapuskar who made films like Ventilator (2016) and Ferrari ki Sawaari (2012).
