Rohit Shetty’s much-anticipated Bollywood film ‘Cirkus,’ which began filming in November, is still being shot in Mumbai. With Ranveer Singh in the lead, the film already looks promising.
The film’s production was supposed to wrap up last month, but we spotted the unit shooting in town today. While the makers are keeping all details under wraps, as are the sets, a source close to ETimes revealed earlier today that Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty were shooting for ‘Cirkus’ at Mehboob Studios on Thursday.
According to the source, they were shooting with a group of international female Russian artists dressed in flashy outfits and lavish headgears. Ranveer left the sets at 4:30 p.m., and Rohit requested a pack up around 7 p.m.
‘Cirkus,’ directed by Rohit Shetty, is said to be an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s play ‘The Comedy of Errors.’ According to Filmfare, the film tells the storey of identical twins who are separated at birth and reunited years later, resulting in a comedy of errors. Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde have been cast as the female leads, while Varun Sharma plays identical attendants to Ranveer Singh’s characters.
