The newly wed couple, Varun Dhawan and his wife Natasha Dalal decided to help out the victims of the Longliang fire and made a donation of Rs 1 lakh to the victims and the pictures of the same flooded social media. Though it was a generous act by the actor not many were pleased by the donations made by the two.
A massive fire destroyed over 100 houses in a remote village in the Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday. Two people lost their lives in the tragedy and many were injured.
The Student Of The Year actor is known for his down-to-earth nature and humble approach towards one and all. But netizens have trolled him and his wife Natasha, for donating a amount of ‘Rs 1 lakh only’, which they said, is the cost of ‘just a day shoes or outfit for them’.
One wrote,”IM NOT BEING rude … But Srsly one lakh Is Just a Day shoes or outfit for them…..”
Another one commented, “One lakh from the ppl earning in crores. The bag Natasha carrying must be more than 3 lakh rupees”
Many have also praised the actor for the same though.
