It looks like the latest feud on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City may have closed the chapter on Lisa Barlow and Whitney Rose’s friendship. After a heated argument during an anniversary party on season 5, Lisa declared she’s done with Whitney, citing years of accusations.
In a dramatic episode aired on October 23, things took a turn at Angie Katsanevas’ “mob wives”-themed anniversary party. Whitney accused Lisa of spreading rumors about her jewelry line, Prism, through Instagram gossip. Lisa didn’t hold back, confronting Whitney’s husband, Justin, which led to a tense standoff between Justin and Lisa’s husband, John.
History of accusations
According to Lisa, this isn’t the first time Whitney has targeted her. “This started in season 1,” Lisa explained, reflecting on allegations Whitney made about her in past seasons. From accusations about her marriage to other personal attacks, Lisa expressed she’s had enough, saying, “I’m done.”
While Lisa is known for her forgiving nature, she made it clear that this time, there’s no room for reconciliation. “I give grace, but this time I’m not forgiving,” she stated. For Lisa, Whitney’s alleged “lies” have crossed a line that might be irreparable. Reflecting on their fractured friendship, Lisa noted that she’s tried to overlook past conflicts for the sake of peace. However, after what she sees as repeated betrayals, she says she’s done compromising her principles to keep the friendship intact.
