Even though it’s a smaller university, Coastal Carolina has built a strong baseball reputation. They’ve made it to the postseason 21 times, starting in 1991. After that, they had to wait a decade to return, but they’ve been a regular force ever since.

2025 marks their second-ever trip to the College World Series. Their first appearance in the CWS was in 2016, and they went on to win the national title that year. Not bad for a school you might not know how to find on a map.
