As of 12:35 PM ET, Canadian stock indices are showing the following updates.

The S&P/TSX Composite Index is up +117.33 points, or +0.48%, trading at 24,373.39.

The S&P/TSX Smallcap Index has also recorded gains, increasing by +2.72 points, or +0.33%, with a current level of 829.06.

Similarly, the S&P/TSX Venture Index is reflecting strength, climbing +1.84 points, or +0.31%, to reach 605.11.

The S&P/TSX Completion Index has increased by +5.09 points, or +0.34%, now standing at 1,480.47, while the S&P/TSX 60 Index is up +7.50 points, or +0.52%, currently trading at 1,457.88.
