The incident occurred post the Secretary disqualifying Trump from appearing on the ballot in her state as primary GOP candidate. While ruling out the verdict, she cited Section 3 of the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, which allows bans from office for those who have “engaged in insurrection.”

The statement comes after a group of residents, including bipartisan group of former lawmakers, challenged Trump’s position on the ballot.

Speaking of ‘Swatting’, it is when someone calls the police under false pretext to trigger a law enforcement response.

Some swatting calls have also been made in the past, wherein the victims ended up being dead. An Ohio man was sentenced to prison in 2019 after a man he swatted for was killed by police
