The Israel Prison Service (IPS) has confirmed 30 Palestinians have been released under the truce deal.
The IPS stated that all prisoners were released from the Ofer prison in West Bank and Jerusalem Detention Center. They said they included 30 men and women.
Earlier, Qatar had said that the Palestinian prisoners due release will include 15 women and 15 children.
They will joining the 150 Palestinian prisoners – mostly teenagers and women – who are released up till now from Israel jails.
The prisoners freed today are among the list of 300 Palestinian prisoners compiled by Israel – who are accused of range of crimes, from throwing stones to incitement to attempted murder.
As per the reports, Marwat al-Azza, a freelance journalist who has worked with American broadcaster NBC, is also among the prisoners freed today.
Earlier today, Hamas had released total 12 hostages, which included 10 Israelis and 2 Thai nationals.
