Paramount+ has announced that Tulsa King, which is returning for a fourth season after its September 2025 renewal, a little before season three began airing, has completed filming (on March 28, 2026). Sylvester Stallone predicted that this new season will be “the best one yet!” Due to Paramount+’s success with the show over the years, they decided to renew it early and create a spinoff. Filming has also happened in other places like Fort Worth, Texas, which matches what has been documented in smaller productions. Stallone has stated that if the series can get another season after Season 4, he would be very eager to do so.
Tulsa King Season 4 – What we know about the release date
A premiere date has not been determined, but based on previous releases for this show (i.e., the first season was released in November 2022, the second season in September 2024, third season begins airing September 21, 2025), it is strongly expected that new episodes will begin dropping via Paramount+ during Fall 2026 (likely sometime between late September and October). Each episode will be streaming post-production edits will usually take 2-4 months following filming completion.
Tulsa King Season 4 – Plot details
Plot points in Season 4 are not currently available to the public; however, the story resumes directly after the Season 3 finale (which was released in November 2025). As a continuation of the Twelve Year War between Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Stallone) and his rivals, the powerful Dunmire family, led by Jeremiah Dunmire (Robert Patrick), the events of Season 3 set all of these individual characters up for new vendettas, ongoing power struggles, and the expansion of Dwight’s Enterprise into Tulsa.
Expect to find additional confrontations with existing local power structures, ongoing connections to previous mob associates, and new threats as Dwight continues to defend those whom he considers part of his “crew” and family. Terence Winter (who served as the head writer and showrunner of Season 1) has returned as the head writer/showrunner of Season 4. This crime drama series has a blend of humor, character-based stories, and takes place in the Taylor Sheridan Universe, including the NOLA King spinoff starring Samuel L. Jackson.
Tulsa King Season 4 – Cast updates

New additions:
- Gretchen Mol (Boardwalk Empire, American Gigolo) as series regular Amanda Clark, a Tulsa politician who will shake up the political-criminal dynamics.

There were reports of some crew and cast changes or departures ahead of filming (including showrunner shifts), but the main ensemble remains intact with Stallone heavily involved.
Keep an eye on Paramount+ or official Tulsa King channels for the first trailer and official release date announcement, which should come in the coming months. The series remains a gritty, entertaining mix of mafia drama and fish-out-of-water storytelling.
