On Monday, tennis star Naomi Osaka has been dropped out of the world’s stop 10 for the first time since her sensational US Open title way back in the year 2018. She continues to take a break from tennis as she was seen struggling throughout the matches. She also was eliminated early in this year’s US Open tournament in the third round itself which has now dropped her confidence. The current Japanese has been a sensation for many fans as she was introduced to the tennis world took the fans to a buzz. She is one of the best tennis players, the fans and the entire world have ever witnessed.
The Japanese star, a former World number one, has not played since exiting the US Open in the third round last month against Leylah Fernandes of Canada 5-7 and 7-6. She has fallen to 11th in the WTA Rankings, which marks her lowest rank before her first of four Grand slam titles at the Flushing Meadows three years ago, as the star went on to beat Serena Williams in a high-intensity encounter final.
Last week, the Japanese star told that her return might be very soon, as she has taken a formidable break from the sport itself. She has recently been going through a lot of mental health issues which is affecting her game on a large scale.
Osaka also pulled herself out from the French Open as well as the Wimbledon this year to protect her mental health. She has now in the 11th position in the WTA Rankings. Ashleigh Barty of Australia retains the top spot, while Osaka is in 11th place.
