Serena Williams is playing her last tournament before she retires officially as the tennis legend announced in a cover story for Vogue. The legendary player upsets No. 2 seed, Anett Kontaveit to advance to Round 3 of the US Open 2022 after beating her opponent with a score of 7-6(4), 2-6, 6-2 to face Ajla Tomljanovic next.
Williams was asked about her level after her second-round victory to which she replied in an epic manner that has become a trending topic in the tennis world. Fans are loving the legendary reply. The reporter in a US Open post-match interview asks Serena, “are you surprised with your level?” The 40-year-old American player smiles and says, “well….I am just Serena…you know.”
