It was already expected that Rafael Nadal a huge Real Madrid supporter won’t be missing out on the big UEFA Champions League final between the Whites and Liverpool scheduled for 29th May. Nadal is currently in Paris, France where he is bidding for his record-extending 14th Roland Garros title as well as the 22nd Grand Slam trophy. The UCL final is also organised in the same country.
Meanwhile, the 21-times Grand Slam champion stated that he is there for the French Open tournament more than anything else but has already bought the ticket for the UCL final. “Well, I am here to play Roland Garros more than anything else, no? But of course, I have my tickets already,” said the legendary player from Spain, reported by Simon Cambers.
Nadal was also present during Real Madrid’s record-extending 35th La Liga win against their 4-0 win over Espanyol where he took the honorary kick-off. Carlos Alcaraz was also there the night. Both the Spaniards along with Novak Djokovic attended the match where the Los Blancos had a dramatic semifinal win over Manchester City to reach the final of the UCL.
