Napoli FC have defeated Eintracht Frankfurt in the UEFA Champions League’s round of 16 fixture on Tuesday night, 21st February. The game was played at Eintracht Frankfurt’s home ground and it was a disappointing night for the host. The first leg win has given a huge advantage to Napoli FC.
With this 2-0 win victory over Frankfurt, Napoli are now likely to go to the last 8 of the UEFA Champions League (2022/23 season). Napoli FC who are in brilliant run of form in the Italian as well as European league took the lead in the 40th minute. It was none other than their in-form striker Victor Osimhen who gave them the deserved lead.
Later in the second half, Lorenzo scored the winning goal which came after Eintracht Frankfurt went down to 10 men. Frankfurt’s striker Kolo Muani who was in good form received a red card in the 58th minute which also may have cost the host this game.
