Italian journalist, who is a transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Argentina forward Messi is set to extend his contract that would keep him at the Spanish club till 2023. There are few details in the contract remaining, the reason why they have not officially announced the extension yet but it will be finalised soon.

According to Le10 Sport’s report, the announcement of 34 years old forward regarding his commitment could be made on his birthday today. There couldn’t be a better occasion to announce the agreement extension other than Lionel Messi’s birthday.
