I’ve a great relationship with with Navas but I’m here to be a starter: Gigi Donnarumma

Donnarumma shares his opinions about the No.1 Goalkeeping spot at PSG.

According to some rumours surrounding the No.1 goalkeeping spot at PSG, it has been speculated that Keylor Navas will be departing the club this summer as the club has decided for Gianluigi Donnarumma to be the primary choice. While speaking to Canal Plus about this Navas stated that even though he has a good relationship with his Italian counterpart, he would like to play all the games and this situation has to be sorted out.

According to Fabrizio Romano’s post, Donnarumma has addressed the situation while speaking to Sky Sports Italy in which he stated he is going to stay at PSG and wants to win with the club. He also added that he too has a good relationship with Keylor Navas, however, he wants to be a starter and wants the situation to change as it is not easy for either one of them.

Keylor Navas has spent the previous three seasons with PSG and had been the undisputed first-choice shot-stopper in the first two seasons. Donnarumma signed for PSG on a free transfer less than a year ago. Since Donnarumma’s arrival, both the goalkeepers have had to share the goalkeeping duties. Donnarumma might finally get the chance to claim the No.1 spot regularly as Navas is expected to cement his place as a first-choice goalkeeper elsewhere.
