I think we do everything to help Romelu Lukaku: Thomas Tuchel

Thomas Tuchel has said that the team and the teammates are helping Romelu Lukaku after it was a rumor going around that he doesn’t want to play for the Premier League club.

Chelsea FC manager Thomas Tuchel said that they are doing everything possible they can to help Romelu Lukaku to get back to his normal form. A few days back the Belgian striker was on the headlines after his interview with Sky Sports (Italia) was out. He was also been removed from the team by Thomas Tuchel after that interview when Chelsea was against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool. Later, after having a good conversation between the manager (Tuchel) and the player (Lukaku) it seems the things sorted out and Lukaku agreed to stay at the club.

Chelsea’s boss was questioned after their 1-0 defeat against the Premier League table-toppers of 2021/22 Manchester City. It seemed that Chelsea FC’s manager wasn’t happy with his attacking players including Romelu Lukaku as he thought they weren’t active that day against Pep Guardiola’s men. But, he clearly stated that he is not thinking about changing his approach to suit misfire Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku.

“I think we do everything to help him, This is what we do constantly for any player. This is a team sport so it’s not about 10 players serving one player. This is not Chelsea and this is not football,” said Chelsea’s boss Thomas Tuchel on Monday to AFP as reported by TOI.

Chelsea has lost their second spot after Liverpool defeated Brentford 3-0 on Sunday. The Reds overtook the Blues and are now placed in the second position, having one game in hand. It seems Chelsea’s manager Tuchel has no complaints against Romelu Lukaku and wants to help him after the striker returned to his old club after so many years.
