In the match week 10, Liverpool took on Brighton at home, looking to continue their great form. At the start of the weekday they were the only team in England across all competition who had remained undefeated. In the recent weeks they scored goals for fun, they had scored 17 goals in their last 5 premier league matches, as a result of which they were the favorites against Brighton & Hove Albion. The seagulls however had been in a great form, especially under the command of Graham Potter. Although they lost their midweek match against Leicester City and haven’t had a consistent outing in the Premier League as well, still they had played well enough to see themselves in the top 6 on the table, above the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham.
The perfect start 🥰

Liverpool bossed the game right from the get going as they got themselves a great goal in the 4th minute of the goal. Jordon Henderson the captain leading from the front buried a great shot to the far corner to give his time a lead. They had an injury scare in the 20th minute as Nabi Keita made way for Oxlade-Chamberlain. But the mercy side team was unrelenting in the first half as Sadio Mane buried another goal in the 24th minute to double his side’s lead. In the 41st minute, however, the Seagulls made a comeback with Mwepu opening the scoring for his team. At halftime, Liverpool led the game albeit by a slender margin of 2-1.

Brighton played some good football in the second half before Adam Lallana the former Liverpool man assisted Trossard whose strike brought them level in the match in the 65th minute of the game. After this both, teams kept coming at each other but neither of them was able to find the goal. As a result, the match ended at 2-2.
65': A deserved leveller! It's a superb move from Albion, finished brilliantly by @LTrossard seven yards out! 😍
