Philadelphia 76ers All-NBA star Joel Embiid injured! No timeline for his return

76ers best Raptors 4-2 at playoffs and are scheduled to face Miami Heat from May 3.

According to sources and as reported by senior lead NBA insider, writer and analyst for The Athletic Shams Charania, 76ers star Joel Embiid is injured and his return cannot be expected anytime soon. “76ers All-NBA star Joel Embiid suffered a right orbital fracture and mild concussion in series-clinching Game 6 win last night in Toronto. He will be listed out and there is no timeline for his return,” wrote Shams Charania.

It is also told that Embiid was in pain throughout his postseason while he sustained a torn ligament in his right thumb. His new injury will sideline him for an unknown period. It is also expected that the Cameroonian may not be able to attend his side’s playoff series against the top-seeded Miami Heat.
